Meta tag tips

Title - front-load your primary keyword in the first 50-60 characters; Google truncates by pixel width, not character count
Meta description - 120-155 characters is the sweet spot; it is not a ranking factor but drives click-through in the snippet
Canonical - always an absolute URL; relative canonicals are ignored by Google
og:image - 1200x630 renders the full large card everywhere; declare width and height so the first share lays out instantly
twitter:card - the one required X tag; set summary_large_image for a big image or summary for a square thumbnail

Social crawlers do not run JavaScript, so these tags must live in the server-rendered HTML rather than being injected client-side. After deploying, verify with the Facebook Sharing Debugger and re-scrape if you change the image.
